Honza Marák dávno rezignoval na kariéru „ajťáka“ a koupil chalupu na konci malé vesnice, kde se zabydlel se svoji ženou Markétou, dcerou Anynou a synem Sayenem. Honza pracuje v lese jako pomocný dělník, spravuje cesty, oplocenky, těží dřevo, pomáhá lesákům. Markéta se živí masážemi a alternativním léčením pacientů, kteří za ní dojíždí na chalupu. K tomu používá různé psychotropní rostliny a houby, což vede ke konfliktu se starousedlíky a poté s protidrogovou policií. Dcera Anyna navštěvuje přespolní ZDŠ, kde však stále propadá, protože se toulá po lesích a místo z učebnic se učí z přírody.
