Film natočený podle skutečné události. Víkendový výlet na luxusní jachtě se pro skupinu vysokoškolských kamarádů mění na děsivou plavbu. Šampaňské teče proudem a slunce pálí. Naprostá pohoda a chuť zaplavat si. V zápalu nadšení se všichni účastníci plavby vrhnou do chladivé, průzračné vody. Dokonce i ti, kteří chtěli zůstat na palubě. Co však začalo jako dobrá zábava, se brzy projeví jako osudová chyba. Nikdo totiž nespustil záchranný žebřík. Paluba je přímo nad jejich hlavami, téměř na dosah, ale trup lodi je příliš vysoký a kluzký, aby po něm mohli vyšplhat. A v kajutě lodi zůstalo opuštěné novorozeně jedné z dvojic.
