Familien Amberson 1942 Gratis ubegrænset adgang

Indianapolis omkring år 1900. Opfinderen Eugene Morgan laver en skandale i fuld offentlighed og får sparket af sin forlovede Isabel Amberson, der i stedet i trods gifter sig med den kedelige Wilbur Minafer. De får sammen sønnen George, der bliver møgforkælet. Mange år senere vender Eugene, der nu er en rig bilfabrikant, tilbage sammen med sin datter Lucy. Eugene og Isabel, hvis mand er død, nærer stadig følelser for hinanden, men den stædige George sætter sig kraftigt imod alliancen med fatale konsekvenser.
