Wallis Conway, a troubled doctor of neurology, is convinced his life has already hit rock bottom... until he wakes up one morning to the sound of a mysterious voice that he alone can hear. Calling herself The Conductor, the voice communicates with Wallis through a supposedly untraceable device planted in his brain. When The Conductor starts to blackmail Wallis with threats against his life and his family, he has no choice but to become her unwilling pawn.
