In 1954, Thanh, an architect, returns to live in the family house he resided in before the war. He suggests that Quy, a comrade from his regiment and his wife, Hue, share the villa which is too big for just him. Cohabitation problems soon arise and challenge the friendship forged by the two men in a completely different context.
