Filmünkben az Apollo program űrhajósai maguk mesélik el történetüket, és megosztják velünk gondolataikat arról, hogy ezek a nagyszabású kutatóutak mit jelentettek nekik és az emberiségnek. Készüljön fel rá, hogy bensőséges és tanulságos interjúkat fog látni az Apollo program minden egyes útjának legénységével az Apollo 8-tól - az első Hold körüli úttól - kezdve az Apollo 17-ig, az utolsó holdraszállásig, melynek során két ember több mint három nappalt és három éjszakát töltött a Hold felszínén.
