G1 Special in USA Night 2 was a professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling that aired live on NJPWWorld and a week taped delayed on AXS TV. NJPW crowned its inaugural IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion as the semifinals and finals of the IWGP United States Heavyweight Champion tournament culminate. The event's name refers to the annual G1 Climax tournament as these shows also served as a prelude to the 2017 G1 Climax.
