The action of this film takes place in the past. An unknown gentleman arrives in a small European city, who leads a trained monkey with him. The monkey is dressed in clothes. The gentleman announces that the monkey is his nephew. It becomes clear that the gentleman is very rich. He bequeaths his wealth to his monkey nephew.
