A voluntary nurse SUSAN of the Life Force disapproves of how her husband’s family ignores women’s social position. Her husband’s sister-in-law suffered complications during labour. FUN takes KIU up a mountain to propose to her and she agrees. They make a wish there and are glad to see signs that their wish will come true. HING succeeds in removing HANG’s liver tumour. CHING SHAU FU, son of the landlord of the Lung Shing, is mad at FUN because his father died from an accident on a snowy mountain. He threatens to raise the rent and sue FUN for violating his professional protocols. FUN is sad that everyone worries about how to save the Clinic, but no one cares about Mr CHING’s death.
